Ilitha Labantu in partnership with the African Women Independent Forum (AWIF) and Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) will hold the first annual national conference of the Isisele Senyathi Hub from 28 to 30 September 2022 under the theme: “Mobilizing African Women Memories through Collective and Collating Historical Knowledge”. This conference is a first-of-its-kind convening of some of the most influential voices in African women’s history from activists, academics, educators in social, political, health and technology, creative Industries, and the law.
