About the Event
Ilitha Labantu, in partnership with the Desmond Tutu Centre for Religion and Social Justice, University of the Western Cape, will hold the inaugural Mandisa Monakali Lecture under the theme, "From Grassroots to Global: The Enduring Impact of Mandisa Monakali's Activism as a Legacy in Advancing Women's Rights. The lecture will be delivered by Hon Thandi Modise, reflecting on Ms Monakali's life's work and her profound influence on the gender equality movement at national and international levels.
